Hi guys, I live in New England, so floor mats are a must, especially during the sloppy winters. What do you all find works best? Any brand/model recommendations? Thanks!
I got the oem all weather floor mats, they work well for me... can be found in the prius chat accessory shop
I bought the all season mats for my c. Live in the southern ADKs of upstate NY and had carpeted mats in my previous Prius and they were a hassle to keep clean with snow, sand and salt
We are also in New England. That white chemical (snow melt) has saturated our garage floor. So even during the summer, we need rubber mats.. Our c 2 is one week old today! When we knew the car was on the transport, I jumped the gun and ordered OEM floor mats, cargo tray and rear bumper protector, using Ebay. Good stuff and should last for years. If we ever move to Texas, we can break out the carpet mats. (or sell them on Ebay)!
Our Prius c came with both. The rubber mats were installed and we found the carpet mats in the hatch. Nice surprise.
I am trying to decide between getting the cargo net or the tray? Or both? Rear bumper protector came with the car.
I just put in both the cargo tray and the net yesterday. The tray came in handy when I took a bag of rubbish to the dump and then the net worked well when I stopped at the supermarket.
I have the cargo net and I love it. Very handy for keeping grocery bags in place on the drive home from the store. I think i will definitely purchase the all-weather floor mats, as I hate the dirt and salt in the winter time. I'm undecided about the cargo tray, since I don't think I'll be hauling much dirty stuff.
I live in PA with salt and crap. I just put in the all weather oem in our Prius 3G as the carpet mats are inferior to the C carpets. They are nice and thick, I am very happy. SO I just ordered the all weather oem for the Prius C, as they will be great and handy with our kids and all the dirt. I also got the net for both and the cargo tray for both. ebay has them as cheap as your are going to find them Just be sure you get the real oem priuschat shop has oem, but a few more $$ and I read neg reviews .... that urged me to go thru ebay.
Agreed, seems everything OEM can be found on eBay a bit cheaper and often prior to being available at your dealership.
I purchased Husky WeatherBeater floor and cargo liners for my 2012 Prius III and am very happy with them.
When we order - which will be at year's end, as we'd like to go a few months w/out a Prius payment - I'll be ordering WeatherTech Floor Liners and Cargo Liner. Although I'm not opposed to the OEM parts, the WeatherTech product appears superior, reviews well and is actually made in America. Rather than being a mat, they're actually trays, which contain dirt and water. I'm not certain how simply the Floor Liners are to remove but if I can keep Minnesota winter slop in a try rather than on the carpets, I'm all for it!
They do not, as seen in the above picture. I'm debating the oem all weathers... always a nice peace of mind.
I bought SUV floor mat Transperent from Kmart and dealer put not on service report too many floor mats! I think for winter/rain that plastic floor mat is good.
I think Toyota has become paranoid about the whole "sudden acceleration" issue and we won't be seeing floor mats going near any pedal from them.
