While I believe the Prius C styling is as unique as one might expect from this line of cars, I'd like to consider the possibility of packaged decals / graphics which would make our future C2 stand out. Does anyone have experience with any of the many decals & graphics which are available from the Internet? Have you applied them yourselves or had them installed by experienced professionals? With proper care (waxing) do they last? Other than the (Japanese) Aqua example shown elsewhere on the forum or the pretty boring graphics I've seen on standard Prius models, has anyone installed yet or have other examples? I'd want to do something unique, perhaps even as simple as pin stripping although getting a little wild culd be fun... Thoughts? Feedback? Ideas?
creativity is limited by your imagination.. you can do whatever you want. when it comes to vinyl, i typically deal with it on my own.. including application... though graphics are something i personally get too picky about when it comes to my personal vehicle.. and usually prefer not to do it. i don't like any generic graphics that are available out there on the internet and would want to design something myself if i were to do it.. that's really the way to be unique.
any recommendation on how to remove a decal the dealer placed on my new c (even though I asked them not to). ? He suggested using a hair dryer to heat it up and then try to peel it off. any ideas ? I have not tried this yet.
*shakes head*.. hmmm.. neah.. i already know my car was made in Japan.. and i don't really need to show off to others that it was.
Maybe make the dealership do it, since they did it against your wishes. Then the onus is on them if they mess up (again).
My dealership also put a decal on the rear of my C, and the day I took it home I was able to just peel it off using just my thumb nail. I think the dealership put the sticker on after waxing the car so it came off real easy. I am not making car payments to advertise for anyone for free.
As long as it fits any decal graphic should work. 10-up Toyota Prius Graphics at Andy's Auto Sport Looks like a two person job, but not overly complicated.
I took off a decal on another car I bought in the past.. I let it sit out in the sun for a little while to heat up the vinyl and then took my nail and a thin piece of plastic and peeled it up! Took patience but no damage done to the paint. I told my dealership absolutely no decals or adhesive on my new C!
