My dealer claims my PiP is on a ship that lands in Long Beach, CA, on May 22nd....however I don't see how that is possible, as it appears the closest ship would be New Century 2, which is most likely will not be in LA until the 25th at the earliest (ETA to San Francisco (Benicia) is 5/20.
Other dealers that I have called claim they can have one to me in 2-3 weeks for MSRP, so that kind of confirms my dealers story....anyone have any info on new inventory in Los Angeles?

 

It takes them less than a day to unload the cars and then the ship immediately heads to Long Beach. It only takes about a day or so to get to Long Beach from Benicia.

No KIDDING! I would go to New Jersey and pick it up myself if I could!!! It is supposed to be here by the end of the week, I am hoping for tomorrow. But then when it gets here I will have nothing to look forward to! :cheer2:

 

Does anyone know what happened to the Texas Highway? It was scheduled to arrive in Portland on the 20th but the ship tracking site showed it docked in Vancouver B.C. On the 22nd. There was no record of it making it to Portland.

 

AIS was off for Portland. TH was there and then headed to Canada. Regular route. Need to update post #725 again.

Not tracking any others east of Panama but I wasn't watching that closely. Canadian cars all come in at New Westminster BC on the west coast so no loss there.

Looks like the SUNBELT SPIRIT - Vessel's Details and Current Position - 9233246 - 538001657 was the last to Newark well before the storm.

gonna be a big slowdown here with the steel shortage. i wonder what the ships will do.

 

First ship out of rotation is the Sunbelt. Should have arrived to east coast first of March. Picking up a load of Mitsu, Nissan ? or whatever instead. One last ship at the dock, EMINENT ACE. Think it is going to Portland/Canada as it made a stop at Nagoya like the two previous ships did. (Pyxis, Indiana) They last did this Nagoya stop for the PiP rollout in 2012? Over due a SoCal ship now but if they are running out of cars maybe one ship for all four west coast ports?

Why was this thread (created for tracking the arrival of the first PIPs in 2012) revived? There are no Prius Plugins being produced at this time. I am not trying to be critical; I am just puzzled.
