Interesting. Metallic Grey was not a paint option in 2005. Magnetic Grey became an option in 2006 through 2009. It's hard to see that paint color on my iPad. Is it Millenium Silver Metallic? Or Tideland Pearl in weird lighting? Or has it been repainted?
Hey, F8L, My opinion is that it was re-painted. It's definitely a 2005 as indicated by the upper taillight darkened lens, the single side reflector headlight buckets & the lack of HSD emblems on the front fenders. And the paint is too dark to be either the Millenium Silver or the Tideland (which had a VERY little hint of green in it). Ken (in Bolton,Ct)
Thanks, Ken. I noticed the 2004-2005 styling ques so I was confused. I thought maybe the color rendering was off on my iPad.
just sold our 04 loaded with 94,000 in excellent condition. $7300. our market is definitely not as hot as cali. but considering the dealer offered me 5 grand, i can't complain.
Correct, the Toyota color name is: Tideland Pearl Metallic John's Stuff - Toyota Prius Colors Now, try explaining that to someone who is not familiar with Tideland Pearls=Metallic Gray (this is also the only option on Edmunds and KBB).
Hi Ken! It was not repainted. It is Tideland Pearl, but most people refer to that (including Blue Book, Edmunds) as GRAY.
It's always good to list the actual color of the car and add comments if the color is obscure. In this case it sounded too much like Magnetic Grey.
seems like a pretty good deal. got our 2005 package 6 with 1 owner all mainteance done at dealer with records 125k for 9,500 just a few weeks back.
