I picked up my new Silver #9 on Saturday from Carson City Toyota, in Carson City, NV (not to be confused with Carson Toyota in SoCal). I placed my order on April 9 and the car was available on May 8 - just under a month of waiting. They said that their current wait time is generally 45 - 60 days (much better than the 6+ month wait lists in SF!) I ordered with Brian Chowanski, their Internet sales manager.. very easy to work with!! --tb

theo, michael toyota in fresno also has a 1-2 month wait for the prius. they are a lot closer to us than carson city, nv. they are charging MSRP and did not slip "extras" in the price they quoted me. -drew

I heard back from Carson City NV Toyota. The wait is now 90 to 120 days. Requires a $1000 refundable deposit for color of choice and packages #3, 7, or 9.
Thanks Drew, I spoke with Evan this morning, and am on their list now. They're "only" 625 miles from me, so it's an easy day's drive there, but a hard day's round trip; I might spend the night there before coming home with my new Prius, once it gets in. javascript:emoticon('') -- Michelle
