I see them all the time now. I saw my first red Prius V at Home Depot last week. See lots of gray and white Prius V's.
I saw 3 yesterday on my commute home. 1, magnetic grey which belongs to my neighbor, 2 white V (one of which is a taxi!) I had to wait a month for mine to come in on the boat, although the "Clear Sky" color seems rare. BTW, I love the car more everytime I drive it.
Saw a Blue Ribbon Metallic Prius v on 128 S near Manchester this morning. Still haven't seen any Prius c's besides mine.
I've seen at least three v's toolin' 'round Lafayette ... which is to say three v's of different colors. One MIGHT have been dealer-owned and out for a test-drive; I never got a good enough look at the plates. According to a sales rep I spoke with briefly the other day, the local dealership has sold about a dozen so far ... about half of which were sold to people living outside of the so-called greater-Lafayette area.
Bought my v the beginning of November and hadn't seen one on the road until last weekend while in Seattle/Tacoma area. Saw a silver and a white on I-5. Then last night on the way home from work here in Spokane I found myself driving behind a white one that still had a temporary license attached. I've actually seen more c's than v's around here.
I often see v's in San Antonio. There are 3 other v owners that live near us ... I see them throughout the week as I drive to/from work.
I've seen at least 12 V's in the last 3 days. I have only seen two C's and no plug-ins that I know of. Tons of V's up here in wine country. Hoping to add one to our garage soon. Keeping our 07 Touring and trading the minivan. Cant wait!
About a month ago I saw my first Prius V in the wild (meaning not on a dealer lot) in Rehoboth Beach DE. At first I thought it was a Prius C! LOL Yesterday on a r/t to Charles Town Races with the fiancé I saw three Prius V's on the way back to home base. Have yet to see any Prius C's actually being driven - saw one parked in an apartment complex parking lot a few weeks ago on my way to work. Given the way dealers have jacked up the prices on the 2012 Prius here in this area because of demand, I haven't noticed any 2012 Prii GenIII's on the road as of yet....
I have only seen two V's in the past few months. I'm wondering if the limited number of Prius V sightings is due to limited supply or modest demand. I would think that the market researchers at Toyota would be pretty good at matching the two. Any thoughts?
I made the same comment that I had yet to see another, then came out to where I had parked in a parking lot only to find a silver V parked next to my red V. Coincidence?
Out here in Palm Springs I have seen quite a few V's. Couple dozen thus far. Seems very popular. Have only seen a couple C's and of course there are hundreds of Prius III's. Hugely popular here.
I might be wrong but I think I saw a v on Hot in Cleveland. (episode storage wars). The front end wasn't right for a gen 3 hatchback. They even mentioned Entunes. It worked better on tv. W
I think the v supply has improved. I was tooling around town today just doing errands and I counted 12 other v's. The tally ran 4 blizzards, 4 silvers, 3 magnetic greys and 1 clear sky. It felt like there was a v around every corner for a while in the middle of the day!
I have never seen any in the wild, only on lots. The other day I saw 5 regular prii between Bonners FerryID. and Sandpoint ID. We get to pick up ours this Sat.
