I stopped in today at the dealer to give a data sheet to a sales man about a car he was going to help me sell.

I have a 10 Prius II with 32,000 miles on it. They had just gotten in a c. Since I have a big car and the Prius was my run around everywhere car I was interest in maybe going smaller.

I looked at it and had test drove a c two weeks before. It was $19,945. I had paid $22 even for my 10 and that was after a 1K rebate.

He asked if I was interested. I jokingly said only if it was an even trade.

He went and got the manager then looked at my car. He walked back over and said the best they could do was my car and $445.00. I said okay.

So I drove the Prius II two years for $2,500 dollars and it had saved me over $3K in gas over the car I had traded it for.

I'm hoping to coach more mpg out of the c than I did with the II.

So, I will be moving over to the c board from here.

That's a nice trade. Hopefully the c will make you even happier than the II did! I was lookig at Volts earlier, 15K trade in om my 08 with 32K on her. I wonder how much under sticker Chevy is willing to go? Someone will call me. If nothing else, I would to test drive one!
Geeze, and only 2 payments left on the '08!

    Shaaweet!

Depending on your driving, and also your trips...you may be able
to get more with your C.

We are not sure how the C value is going to hold up....
but for now, we know it is a Toyota, so it will be good!

    Congrats!

Took it on a 40 mile loop today to a restaurant and Walmart. Averaged 62 mpg. Off to a good start.:thumb:
