The wait is FINALLY over. Here are some quick pics from the dealership earlier today: Very impressed with the handling and "refinements" over my Gen II on very limited time behind the wheel. What's wowed me so far: The HUD is awesome. What's disappointed so far: The placement of the USB port. Already have an appointment to get the PP Lowering Springs installed. Tint will be next and then installing new tires & rims. The OEM 17" tires and rims will be going up for sale shortly after that. Many more posts to come as I learn more about the car.
Congratulations on your new Prius Five. My favorite color and package. The dealerships in my area didn't have any Five's in inventory or in route at the time of my purchase. So far, I love my Prius IV and named it the "weeee" machine after Maxwell in the GEICO commercials. Since I have a relative that works at Toyota, I will likely take delivery of a Prius Five next year, as you are only allowed to purchase one vehicle a year under the program.
I can't believe you're giving up those awesome wheels. Those 17's are really sweet. I haven't seen another that I like better.
I think they are ok, but not really my cup of tea. I purchased some Momo Winter 2's instead. I hope others share your feelings on these because I'll be looking for a buyer who understands how special these are (even if I don't ).
You should find multiple people anxious to purchase your wheels, they tend to get sold quite quickly here.
You're going to make a killing off the OEM 17s as the Momo Winter 2 is dirt cheap at $99 a pop. Looking forward to seeing the Valenti CR on your Barcelona Red.
I sure hope so. I am so far in the hole on extra goodies for mods that I need to get some of that back. The dealer had a slight mishap in prepping the car today when one of the techs used a dirty towel to wipe down the rear spoiler and scratched it up a bit. The sales guy pointed that out right away and said they had already ordered a new spoiler as a replacement. So I think I will wait for that repair to be done and then I'll install the Valenti's --- no need risking having them be exposed to that tech so early on.
I'm stoked for you, bro! It's beautiful! I agree that the OE wheels look great but I know you. Justin
beautiful car! barcelona red was a 2 way tie with classic silver for me and I ended up with the silver
Congrats on it finally getting here!! The red was my second choice but I couldn't have gotten the PPP in that color. Let's see some pics when you get the wheels and other accessories installed.
Nice ride! Get rid of that fender gap and get new wheels! I did the former, and the latter will be here tomorrow. Woohoo!
Just order the full Plus Performance Package There still is enough ground clearance for small bumps in the road Mike
Wish I could have --- it is not available in Barcelona Red. It's not easy being red (though it is definitely much cooler than BP )
