Picked up my C 4 last week and love it. Smaller than my 07 Prius but definitely drives just as nice. Entune is killing me, though. Finally figured out that I need to be connected by a USB cable since I don't have a hotspot on my iPhone, but where are these other apps it said it had? Thanks!
It uses bluetooth to connect or at least does in the Prius, Prius v and Plug-in. Not sure if for some reason it is different in the c. To activate the other apps you have to goto the entune site and create and log in your account. Then sign up for those services and they link to your account. Just make sure you have unlimited data or using stuff like Pandora could cause you to go over or spend ALOT on data fees.
Thanks. But it tells me on the website that the only apps supported are Bing and Pandora. I linked the Pandora. I have unlimited data, so don't mind using, just can't figure out how to get them to come up!
Same here...I can't find the opentable or the others. I think I heard they are going to be available in summer though..
After doing some research on Toyota's site, it looks like only the Navigation display with entune have those apps. Which means the Prius C will never have them seeing that we have the display audio with entune . The salesperson told me they would this summer.
I could be wrong, but if you go to the phone compatibility section on myentune.com, it says that those apps aren't available for iphone...??? I was wondering the same thing when I got my car a few days ago.
I ran through the compatibility test from the Entune website: Entune Login->Mobile Devices (from the left menu)->All Caps CLICK HERE link->Follow on screen directions. I have got a DroidX and have got the iHeartRadio app on my phone and this sent me a text message with a link to follow to determine my compatibility and it is telling me that iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, and OpenTable are not compatible on my phone (or possibly in my car? I'm confused now). The only way I could test this would be to try it with a different phone. Guess for now I won't be having those three things. Being in an IT Career I find it hard to believe that those can't be available, I assume it has something to do with those particular apps having problems sending data by bluetooth or usb.
