I try to play the music through the USB port inside of store box.
The reading speed of music is very slow. There is no way to play music smoothly. And after like 10 seconds, the music stops.

    Anyone have similar experience?:(:(:(:(

Mine is working well, thought at the moment the unit is seeing only 1554 files out of the ~2000 on the thumb drive. I haven't yet dug through to see why a bunch are missing.

But you say MP3 is not working. The bulk of my files are WMA format. I'll have to check whether or not the number of missing files has any similarity to the number of MP3s on the stick.

If you are playing through a smart phone, like an iPhone with a USB cable, the type of cable may make a difference. At first I was wondering why my music skipped every few seconds, but changed USB cables and everything worked great. Turned out, the first $0.99 cable I was using was probably only suited for charging. I switched to the USB cable that came with my iPhone and it worked great.

What device are you playing it through? If its a USB thumb drive, what manufacturer and model?

I use a flash driver. I am not sure the manufacture and model. That's one I used for 5-6 years. I am only sure that it is USB2.0 type Flash driver.

I tried a few songs to test it and there were no problems except they were a bit soft so I had to turn up the volume. I only use mp3s so the files will work in any system(windows or macs).

PS. The system can go into directories at least one deep.

Update: I got a new thumb flash driver from my family. I try with this new flash driver. everything works fine.
So the problem comes from the bad thumb flash driver.
