Pretty rare here. We just took delivery of ours on Saturday, and it was only the fourth one our dealer has gotten. Midland/Odessa is one SMSA (250k +/-) with two dealers, and between them less than a dozen so far. Dealers keep telling me they are hard to come by, and it was a near miracle we were able to get the Clear Sky Metallic Trim 3 (light blue), as they scoured the entire Gulf States region and all were pre-sold off the dock in Houston.
I'm in Los Angeles, and they're becoming more and more common. I've seen the Prius v on at least ten separate occasions within the past month. The magnetic gray and pearl white are the most common colors.
5 is the one day record so far here in Los Angeles, my job takes me all over the city so spotting them isn't that tough, average at least 2 a day...from the looks of it mostly soccer moms behind the wheel.
Okay so the very first day after I started this post I spotted a Classic Silver V heading north on I 75 near Brandon Fl...That's the first I've seen on the road.
I saw my first v(red)on I-74 bridge over Mississippi River last Saturday. I think they are quite rare to see in the wild here.
I've seen every color available available here in LA...mostly silver, damn I'm late for my hourly tree hug...I'm out of here.
Caryanne, that's two more Prius V's than I've seen in MA. Bought my red one (in Watertown, MA) at the end of March and I have yet to see another.
I've seen probably 2-3 in the Syracuse area (besides Chazz8's). They're out there, but still rare enough that I point it out to my wife when I see one. Andy-the-non-Californian-tree-hugger-and-tree-planter
Havent seen a single one since I drove off the dealership, and i drive quite a lot. Houston metro area.
Yesterday I counted more than 35 Prii on the way home (yes, I am that OCD sometimes.) 10 were parked on the block where I work, all Gen II and Gen III. While on the road, one of them was a Gen I, and one of them was a v. I didn't see any c's, but I have seen them in the wild.
I see several every time I go out. I never even started counting, though I'm sure I would have lost track by now. Quite a few are in use as taxis, and may well be purchased as replacements for the Prius taxis so common around here.
I'm on the purchasing hunt for mine... and I've spotted one exiting the interstate... in NE Indiana... that's it so far... 2 closest dealers to me - say they sell as soon as the come in.
Perhaps because I keep mine in the garage most of the time... I saw a white one once. Mine is Classic Silver.
