I ordered my Prius a week and a half back, and was told I would get it Wednesday. Wednesday came around, and they said it should arrive on their late night or early morning shipment. Thursday comes around and no recourse, except more waiting. Today, I was told that I should be getting it Saturday if not Monday, because they are closed Sunday. Has anyone had this problem? I would not be so upset if they said May 9th, and it got here early.
We ordered ours in mid March. Just picked up our Prius C Four yesterday. The dealer said they cannot keep the cars on the lot. I am just thankful they came thru. Ours came from Japan to Portland OR, then Olympia, WA where we sealed the deal.
Some kid somewhere it just beating on it. 6000 RPM going super fast. lol jk my brother told thats what they were doing to mine when i had to wait to pick it up
A week and a half ago order means it is coming from Gulf States Toyota's dealer allocation not ordered from Japan. Hopefully it's just a delay in rail and truck shipping to your dealer. Give it a chance to get there. If they keep putting you off ask your dealer for the vehicle inquiry report printout as proof your getting a car. Should show the VIN and the ship that brought it to Long Beach plus all the details of the car. Even the Queen of fleet sales, Dianne of Carson, has her preordered PIP stuck at port just minutes from her dealership.
Lum Toyota in Warrenton Oregon had a blue Prius C come in last week. I was told all the Toyota Japan made cars enter the Port of Portland Oregon via ocean going car carriers.
I paid deposit on my C 2 days ago. They're bringing it over from interstate and am hoping to get it at best in 2 weeks. My Toyota Dealer said, at worst, the car may not get delivered for as long as 4-6 weeks! - but they were confident it'll arrive in a "fortnight". I've been wanting this vehicle for the past 2 months, til i finally took the plunge in buying it. Now I honestly CAN'T WAIT to get it! so excited!!!!!
:violin: I have been waiting for my 2012 for almost 3 and 1/2 MONTHS. Every day I keep asking "where's my f$&@#*ng Prius?" (Actually, I scream this in my mind several times a day, without the substituted characters). I stopped believing the dealer a month ago. SERENITY NOW!
It happens as they'll be shipping it from some other country. Just wait & relax. They're not gonna speed up the process anyways But I heard these cars are shipped from japan and it should take sometime.
