I know its crazy in this car, but I think a dual exhaust would look great. I have the 5 Axis body kit and 2 pipes, on on either side would be perfect. I am not looking for a loud, throaty sound, just the look. Where can i go?
If you're just after the look and not the sound, why not just bolt on a fake exhaust that doesn't actually connect to the exhaust manifold? Cheaper and easier.
And I'm thinking of painting the muffler and tailpipe flat black to give the appearance of NO exhaust.
I agree with going custom. Just find a decent exhaust shop and have them fabricate a new pipe that connects to your existing exhaust using a y-pipe adapter then put nice flat-style exhaust tips on it. The other idea of just adding a false pipe and exhaust tip is even better as long as no one will be looking under your car. It's cheaper, less likely to affect performance AND it will stay clean!
Then you could mount a couple of weatherproof speakers under the rear bumper, hook them up to an iPod, play various car exhaust sounds, and confound other drivers!!

I took my truck to a muffler shop and instructed them to cut the tail pipe off the back of my muffler. I then had them weld a 4 inch pipe off the back and out the back of the truck. I painted it flat black. It looked like a NASCAR pipe and cost me $20.00. It had no effect on the vehicle but gave me street Credit. I might have to do the same to the Prius. Might go with a 6 inch pipe to blow some people away. They all seem to be driving up my tail pipe anyways. Have fun and make it your own. Go custom or take a number and get in line.
