Anyone used Klasse AIO? I am concerned about about how hard it is to apply and will it harm the OEM clear plastic film near the wheel wells. Do you still use it and would you recommend it? If the answer is no, have you found a better product as a substitute? I am looking for a single application product that doesn't stain black plastic trim. Thanks Tom
I have not used it. But i've always said if it was easy and great everyone would do it. I perfer the ole way of wash, clay bar, and machine polish and wax. There was someone on here that used the ULTIMA sealant and loved it and said it was a breeze to use.
I've used Klasse AIO on my other car with good results. Easy to apply and buff. I will just add that I prefer Zaino - the protection lasts longer.
I use to use the klasse line. Was my favorite until I found the Ultima line. Lasts longer and much easier to use. The klasse step before the all in one was a bitch to remove. And the Ultima sealant is wipe on and walk away, unlike the all-in-one.
So would it be: Wash, dry, clay, ultima, carnuba (optional) The ultima is supposed to last month's I think, so in between, just wash n. Wax? AM I missing a step after clay? It's all by hand and I'm old. Doing it takes about 2 days to recover so I don't want the ultimate solution, just enough to keep a daily driver in pretty good condition. Thx
Wash, dry, ultima elastrofoam, ultima paint prep plus, ultima paint guard plus. Good for 6 months. Ultima detail spray for touch ups.
Sojust wash and wax during the 6 months? Or better yet, just wash and dry (I hope )? Do you have a source with good prices?
I used to use Klassse AIO on an old mercedes 420 SEL I had (best car ever made) but was long ago and I can't remember why I stopped using it. But something happened and I stopped. Have recently decided to get back into car care and it's changed a bit. I did a little research and have ordered an 6" DA polish/wax machine and some pads, sealants, waxes. Will be going at it next weekend. Try Autogeek.com for some current info and help.
Wash and dry. The detail spray every so often should help extend the treatment... so they say. Don't be too put off by the prices. This stuff lasts forever. You use so little of it. Ultima Automotive Finish Care & Car Detailing Products Paint Sealant Interior Care Tire & Trim
upon further review: that's autogeek.NET ...sorry they have a forum there with all types of detailing info, reviews, product ads, etc most of the major product lines also have videos on how to use their stuff and when to use it (on their websites)
