About to purchase a 2012 Prius C 3 in Moonglow's. Would love to see photos of anyone's Moonglow's! How are you liking the color? Any disappointments? As fas as the 15" 8 spoke alloy wheels. How much does it cost to upgrade to these vs. The stock steel rims? On the sticker it said $390. The sale guy said it is $390 plus the original cost of the steel rims, but couldn't get me an exact number. Help please! Looking forward to being a new Prius C owner!!
Just put on a a wash and a coat of Meguiars NXT 2.0 wax. As you can see the color glows in the sun light, and I am happy with the color I picked. I am going to be buy a set of wheels for the car so i did not look into the cost for the Toyota package. Joe
The steel rims are included in the base price, so their "original cost" is zero. The $390 upcharge for the alloys assumes that the car will be ordered that way from the factory, so that's all you should pay for them.
I've read where they are $300-400 each if purchased through the parts department later. Best to order them with the car if you want them for the $390 for all four.
Your C in Moonglow looks great! Excited to get one myself. Any modifications anyone is doing to their C to make it a bit sportier? Sounds like if I want the alloy wheels they are only $390 if they come with it or I order it that way. The sales guy was trying to tell me that's the cost of those plus the cost of the steel stock wheels. BS! I figured as much, he just didn't want to order one from factory and push what was available to him.
