I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but everytime I try and search I get a flood control warning. I know this has been posted before but I can't find it. SOrry. I've got an 06 package #7. What is the sequence of events needed to be done to defeat the nav lock out? Touch upper left, lower left etc... on what screen? I remember a post with pictures, but that was before the board had a meltdown. Will that also remove the lockout on the MP3 player? I can't get a folder list while the car is in motion. Thanks
The volume screen. Touch upper left, lower left, upper left, and lower left to get the service menu. Press and hold the appropriate button until it beeps and is outlined in orange (takes about a second or two). I can't remember the name of the button, but it is approximately in the middle of the list.
Like when I go to the Audio screen and at the bottom is the "sound" icon. I touch that and I get brought to a screen where I can change the Treble, Bass etc...? I tried it on the way to work this morning and it did not work. I thought I saw somewhere that someone with a 2006 got in to it. I guess I'll try again.
Not the Audio Screen, the NAV Volume screen. On my '05, there is a button on the top right of the MFD labeled "Menu" or something. This gives you three options: "Suspend Guidence", "Volume", and "Settings" (I think). Choose the Voume button and you'll be on the Volume screen. Now do the top-left, bottom-left, top-right, bottom-right, thingy.

So far, no one has reported being successful at finding the NAV motion override on an '06. Hope they find some way of doing it, I personally really, really love it.
