Hey Everyone, So here's a fun issue. I use voice recognition to tune my radio, but it doesn't tune. I'll say, "Tune to one oh four point five" and it pops up with the correct band (FM), but just doesn't tune. Do I have to say "one hundred and four point five" or "one zero four point five"?
The first one works for me: Tune to one oh four point five. I use it all the time. Do other voice commands work?
Maybe it's your Canadian accent I imagine the software engineers had one hell of a time getting the voice recognition to work with people from all over the world. Amazing it even functions or is offered. Mike
I am the proud owner of a 2012-5 and got a few questions about the voice command system since the subject seems to be hot, can any one suggest what I should do to get the voice system working? The command "GO HOME" works but I would like the radio to work by voice also.. I tried any number of commands but it keeps saying it doesn't uncerstand. In the manual it shows many commands displayed on the screen but I see only a few mostly to do with SAT. Any ideas? Is there a setup that I haven't done yet? There is another Audio setup called SOUND, with subtitles labeled 'Automatic Sound' and 'Surround'. The AutoSound is set to ON but the 'Surround' is not displayed???
