We've had our 2011 IV since April and I've had to reload my contact list 3 or 4 times since then. Does anyone have an idea of why the Prius keeps clearing out the contact list or removing my favorites? I suspect one time is when we connected my wife's phone to the bluetooth, but that does not explain the other times it has happened (we removed her phone completely from the car's system). Thanks,
Sorry I can't help solve your problem, but I can tell you it is probably not caused by having two phones. I have a 2011 IV and have 2 phones setup in the car. Both phones maintain a separate contact list - i.e the contact list that is available depends on the phone that is connected at the time. Note that this is also true for the speed dial entries, each phone has a unique set of speed dials available. So, the presence of the second phone is not likely the cause of the problem. I have the same problem. Every 3-4 months I lose the Contact List and Speed Dials on the Nav/Phone in my Prius IV 2011. It seems to only happen right after I start the car, but only every 3-4 months. I did contact the Toyota Dealer and of course they say it's the phone. Anybody figure this out yet?
