i have 4 rock chips on my hood, about 7 around my front bumper.. and a window nick from a rock... so far.
Noticed a few rock chips in the front bumper ... I am still int the stage of parking at the most uphill part in parking areas so that unmanned shopping carts can not fall prey to gravity and slam into my car and I also try and not park near cars if possible for fear of dents from other car doors.
Hand washed and inspected about 2 weeks ago... nothing as of then, and nothing I've noticed since. Add to the list not driving too close when behind large trucks or semis.... always park so that it's only possible for 1 person to park next to you, and leave them plenty of room. I did have to drive over some fresh asphalt the other day.. I could hear it hitting the inside of my wheel wells but nothing on the paint.
I found a big scratch, which I couldn't see it when I picked up my car at night at dealer. I called the dealer and they fixed it for me. Now, I have driven 2500 miles and have a rock chip in the front bumper, and some scratches from shopping carts....
