Just bought a prius for the first time!!

    I just bout a Prius C as a birthday present for myself on the 7th and so far....I LOVE IT!! today I used ECO mode for the 1st time and got 81 MPG!! :rockon:

    That's not a good precedent to set. I've had many birthdays since my Prius purchase back in 2000. That resulted in 3 more purchases. The MPG becomes addicting, more compelling than some other priorities of the past. You're doomed!

    LOL yea thanks, I must admit I have been hooked to that MPG since day one! I keep trying to find new ways of driving that will improve it! Makes driving feel kinda like a video game to me now haha!:p

    Congrats! Welcome. That's high MPG for a brand new engine. How are you doing that? I average like 55.

    Congrats! I too have found it very addictive to squeeze out every mpg I can, but the best I've pulled off so far is 77.5MPG on a 20 mile trip...you've given me something to strive for now! ;-p

    Exactly how I'm feeling. I've had mine about a week and a half now and I love the interactivity. It makes you keep trying to improve.
