So I've been dying to do the illuminated rear emblem for about a year now and just hadn't gotten to it or found a good source when I did look. I ordered this one from Ebay and it's for the Camry but holding it up to our emblem it looks to be the same size and should work fine. I'd install it today but it's just too damp and chilly outside. The catch with this one is not only is it blue when the lights are on, but then switches to red when the brakes are applied. Saw it on youtube and immediately started looking for one. It came super fast especially considering it came from Hong Kong. Didn't think I'd have it in time for this weekends meet at the Toyota Museum. Now I'll actually have something new to show off. Will post pics after it is installed on the car.

If it's not made in Japan, it's crap!

Just kidding. Looking forward to seeing it on your car.

Trust me, I'd prefer it was and came from there. I need a contact out there. Don't they know the money they'd make off of me alone if it was easier? So many good things, so little access. Or just too dang expensive.

Any info on the seller? That sounds like my kind of project. I already have the front emblem illuminated.

Better make sure that blue light is street legal where you live.

I'm sure it's not, but it's so subtle I'm not overly concerned. There's worse things to pull me over for than that, ie. tinted windows, no front plate, blue running lights up front. All in the name of customization. If I get a ticket, I fix it. No real biggie. Nothing is permanent.

Cant wait to see this mod installed. Much cheaper option than the Tommy K lighted emblems.

Thanks for the link. Definitely post some pics. I am curious on the fit around the emblem and how bright the blue color really is. So some night shots would really be appreciated.

If it isn't too freakin bright, it might not get attention from the cops. A nice subtle glow would be cool. Hey just remembered, since it is LED's, a guy can put a series resistor in the blue lighted wire lead and tone down the brightness. Piece-o-cake :)

If that's a direct fit, this is going to look really cool. Nice find.

I'm really hoping it fits well. I know car companies like to reuse parts and since the Camry has a hybrid too with a similar emblem, I can only figure it's gotta be the same. Nice idea about the resistor. If it's too bright I'll look into it. And of course night pics will be the only real way to judge how good it looks. Hoping to have it done by Friday.

I had mine wired up on remotes (front and rear emblems), since they are super bright blue, so I can turn them on or off individually (i.e., if I see a cop up ahead, or if one is behind me in traffic).

You should install a sensor for flashing blue light. The sensor should automatically power down emblem lighting and roll down these super tinted windows.

I wasn't able to install today. Not a perfect fit with the way out rear emblems are mounted. It can and will be done but will need to have a vinyl shop cut me a piece in the shape of the emblem only a slight bit bigger to cover the big holes that would otherwise be visible just mounting it as is. It will be done ASAP and will get the pics posted as soon as I can. Trust me, I was very disappointed it didn't work right off the bat.
