Hah, Couldn't resist. Just picked up a 2012 package 3 car with nav yesterday. Retired car is a 2008 Prius with 90k worth of flawless miles on it. (likely going to daughter) My wife drives a Denali Hybrid. My toy is an E85 burning 650hp Subaru STi. I've had literally hundreds of cars throughout the years, but none have been more enjoyable than my Prius. Hello Prius community!
Way too soon. I drove it to the tint and clear bra shop from the dealer. It has a whopping 5 miles on it now.
Not to jack JBLACKWELL's thread, but I know exactly what he means. I've owned a ton of cars and bikes, most sickly fast. The funner they were to drive, the longer I kept them. With age (and kids) came some *gasp* maturity and I started getting the same thrill squeezing 50 MPG out of a 1981 Rabbit Diesel (turbo - modded) asI did driving a modded WRX. The Prius is amazing because it is so ENGAGING to drive. It's my wife's car, but I fight her for the keys when we go anywhere together as I love to see how much MPG I get squeeze out of each drop of precious gas. Hypermiling is the new anti-performance thrill and the Prius makes it so easy and fun. That being said, I still enjoy hitting a clover leaf off the highway exit without slowing in my modded Accord and seeing if I can hit 1G and maybe 70 - 75 MPH
Day 1, 5 miles Day 2, 10 miles. Fully tinted, ugly wheel covers removed, full front end wrapped in clear bra, fully waxed.
