    By golly, Vege-Taco is right for the 2012 model. This must be a change since the Runaway Toyota Fiasco, as it didn't work that way in my 2010, nor in the runaway Lexus that crashed in San Diego.

    Sec 5-2 (page 556), Steps to take in an emergency

    [Step 4] To stop the hybrid power system, press and hold the "POWER"' switch for 3 consecutive seconds or more, or press it briefly for 3 times or more in succession. (emphasis added)

    Also added, probably following the Sikes incident after he refused to shift to Neutral:

    [Step 2] Shift the shift position to N. (emphasis added)
