glass is UV protected in PC?

    glass is UV protected in PC?

    if they are not, what I can do if I don't want to have put the window tint?

    UV protection wax? :rockon:

    On a dealers website in Leesburg, va... it states that an external feature of the C is ' UV reduction glass windshield '.

    Could not find anything on the Toyota site though.

    I'm thinking all modern auto glass blocks UV to a degree, at least my Transition Lenses don't get darker in cars!:p

    Prius c window has a UV logo on it which makes me believe they are UV blocked windows

    will try to post a photo later on as well

    My eyeglasses darken from UV light. Before I bought prescription sunglasses, I used to roll down my window and briefly hold the glasses in the sun, because UV does not get through the windshield.

    Here is a chart showing the PriusIII UV glass specifications. I would think Toyota would do something very similar for the V and C.

    According to the Toyota site in Japan. The Aquas/Prius C has 99% UV blocking glass so no gloves or sun block is needed apparently.

    However, The official site of Japan also said that the UV reduction glass are only for the FRONT DOOR.

    i think most cars have 90% UV block while Aqua has 99% on certain windows, thats the "big deal" they advertise in Japan...

    I checked all the window and they all has the UV logo on it.

    where can I buy UV meter?
