Saw a blue Leaf near Cupertino getting onto 280 south at ~8:30 pm after the 85 junction. It was moving at quite a clip on the onramp... Otherwise, I haven't seen many Leafs lately, for some odd reason...

Wow, I saw 3 Leafs today even though I wasn't out for very long. I saw white, silver and black ones. edit: Two of the Leafs I saw today were able to see each other.
I was driving to work the other day when I saw TWO Leafs on the highway in Carlsbad, CA. They were not driving together - the blue one was going about 5mph faster than the black one. I just happened to be "in the right place at the right time" to get this photo. .
Have yet to see one here, I've seen two Volts, guess the harsh winters scare off the potential EV buyers, tho this year we only had two rather pathetic storms!
Interesting point because the US sales so far show low(er) sales throughout Winter and higher thru most of summer - My Nissan Leaf Forum • View topic - Worldwide Plugin Sales Stats : Feb US 478 Volt 1023, JP - I think all of 2012 Leafs get the heated seats and steering wheel which most are saying important for cold weather in Leaf.
Important for maximizing range while still staying comfortable. The battery heater is more to keep the electrolyte from freezing, and might not improve winter range over the previous year.
Saw 2 Leafs in the morning in Campbell being driven by blonde women. Saw a red Leaf parked near a bunch of auto shops and body shops in south San Jose. I also saw a Mitsubishi i on the road, for the first time.
Saw a blue Leaf in Almaden Valley today (there are two blue ones known to be running around that specific area) and a two red ones (same one?). Interestingly, one of the red ones was parked maybe 10 blocks away from my house in front of a house which has 2 monstrosity class extended length SUVs (e.g. Yukon XL or Suburban) parked on the driveway. They have an older one and bought a new extended length monstrosity within the last month or so (didn't have plates at first, then got them later). It's a small 1-story house, so I I doubt they "need" the space. Sigh.... I guess gas is too cheap at >$4/gal here.
Saw black, blue, white and red Leafs yesterday. The red one had a vanity plate "GOT KW(hand)" where (hand) was an icon of a hand.
My sighting was more about the Honda Fit EV than the leaf. I saw them while cycling around the Rose Bowl, looked like Honda was out testing the cars together.
Drove by a stealership at lunch to check one out, look decent in person not crazy or over the top. $38k sticker price.
