Just got an email from our dealer...our car will be in Portland around the 23d and we should take delivery in the next few weeks...which is great. She sent an attachment of the msrp sheet, and I am trying to clarify the interior color. Its a IV with classic silver metallic. Here is exactly what is printed. "Interior color: 1201: Gray, 1203 and 1205: Light Blue Gray/Black, 1" There are only two ways the seat colors could go..either black or that grey type. I would appreciate any IV owners who still have their msrp sheet to look and can maybe figure this out. Thanks.
I pick my C up tomorrow. Haven't seen it yet, but the dealer told me it has all black softtex seats...although he also hadn't seen it yet when he described it, as the car was still in transit. My paperwork has the exact same description of the interior (Color: 1201: GRAY, 1203 and1205: LIGHT BLUE GRAY/BLACK, 1). The dash should be a mix of gray and black, without the blue trim pieces seen on the 1s, 2s, and 3s.
I am also getting a Pc4 Blue Streak Metallic/Black. The interior for the 4 come in two different trims, Black and Light Blue Grey/Black. The only difference between the two is the butt cushion on the seat. The light blue grey/black intkerior comes with light blue grey butts with the rest of the seats in all black. Go to Toyota's website and play with the build your own C tool and see the difference in pictures. Hope this helps you.
actually... the package 1 has the black trim pieces as well. only the 2&3 have the blue trim and the silver dash pieces
The seats are different on both the outside and inset pieces. The outside of the "blue/grey" seats are much lighter than the black seats. The dash is solid black on both. The front door panels also have what looks like aluminum trim pieces on the forward portion of the arm rest as well. The illustrative simulated pics on the website make them look closer than they look in real pictures but you can still see they are different. ron
Just picked up the car! I am madly in love. The seats are, in fact, the solid black--but I would say the color is more of a deep charcoal grey rather than black. It's really very tasteful and beautiful. Have I mentioned that I love this car?!!!!
