41, married, 2 boys (10 & 6), 2 cats, and a dog. My wife doesn't drive, so we only have one car. Traded in my 2009 Honda Civic, which I was never really happy with. Always wanted a Prius and jumped at the chance once I learned about the Prius C (which was only about three weeks ago). My father (75) was also planning to buy a "C," but when they said he might have to wait up to two months, he instead ended up with a 2009 Prius. He traded in his 2009 Corolla for it. Scary how waiting only one week made such a difference in getting, or not getting a "C."
I have a Gen 3 2010 for my wife, we are both 21. Im going to be buying a C once i get out of afghanistan in a month. So well be a complete prius family, C and a Gen 3, Lol
Just purchased a Prius c Mod 2 and I'm 67. However, you're never too old to be a savvy car buyer. Whether your 20 or 80 doesn't matter. You don't have to be a gen-y to recognize an understated jewel. Us seasoned car buyers still know a good car when we see one. Aloha from Kauai
39, married, no kids, no dog (2 cats), professional(whatever that means), replacing a 2004 Honda Accord.
64, replacing 2003 Accord after a lifetime of Honda cars and motorcycles, with a C3 plus alloy wheels, black.
45, married, no kids, replaced '97 Honda Civic with 171,000 miles on it. Cut my gasoline bill in half, multiplied my car payment by infinity.

Wow! BMW 5-series to Prius c is quite a change. Surprised you wouldn't go for something a little more luxury like a HyCam, now defunct Lexus HS, Lexus CT or wait for the Lexus ES hybrid...
