    UCBRUINS,

I work across Sepulveda from LAX and thought you might try Walgreens just across the 105 FWY - they have a chargepoint that's free as well and you don't need to go through all that trouble to use it. It's almost never in use when I pass it on the way into Manhattan Beach for lunch. Give it a try next time!

LAX is in the process of installing new chargers, however none of them have power yet.

I parked in lot 6 from April 9th to the 20th while in Hawaii. I was in the first row right across the street from the United terminal, which was the airline I was traveling on. Same experience as others...when I went to leave, the toll booth operator told me the charge was $330! I told him I was driving an electric vehicle. He asked for my driver's license and phone number (not sure why they need that?) and then opened the gate saying no charge. Sweet!

If you saw a blizzard pearl advanced model all by itself behind the caution tape they put up while they were changing out the chargers at lot 6, that was definitely me. The only down side was that my car was filthy from being in the midst of all that construction. Well worth the price, though!

I wish it was still free. It's so close to my house. I went today and it's not free anymore. It's $2/hour.

That link refers to the old law and the web page hasn't been updated, because that law was thrown out for the one sponsored by GM

Are there more charging stations at LAX now? I'm going there tonight for a trip. Deciding whether to take a risk and go down there with my Leaf or not. Thanks
