Navigation Volume Adjustment?

    Has anybody found a way to increase the volume for the navigation prompts? It would be nice to make them a little louder.

    I know you can under settings for a default volume and I've also used my volume control on the steering wheel as needed. I have the display audio which is the radio in a v without the advanced tech package. W

    It took us a little while to figure it out, it's a button on the nav screen that looks like a speaker (lower left IIRC). Push it and it will let you adjust volume...

    Ours came with volume on very low. We were surprised that the nav system doesn't mute/reduce radio volume automatically - like our 5 year old 2007 TCH. But now with the volume turned up, it's workable. Bluetooth phone quiets the radio, but nav doesn't ???

    Thanks Midpack. That did it. Now if only I could find a voice command to cancel a route...

    As far as I know there isn't one. You have to hit options and then select stop guidance.

    Just click the RPT (Repeat) button below the screen and while the voice is repeating the directions, you can then easily adjust the volume.
