When I turn on the V, my iTunes turns on whether it was the last input to be selected when the car is turned off or not and I want it to stop. Any suggestions?
That's normal functionality. If you hop in the car and plug your iphone in via USB, the ipod controller takes over and the music starts plaing.
Start > Run (or Windows flag key + r ) typein "msconfig" click the startup tab uncheck "itunes" Tip: Making iTunes purchases DRM-Free.
I was just posting this same thing, I was at the dealer today and spent an hour with them trying to get itunes to stop turning on every time I plug the phone in. It drives me crazy that every time i plug my iPhone in the music starts, their has to be a way to stop it! Please help.
What's most annoying about it is that it so often just starts from track 1 on my iphone. First world problems, eh.
I love every single thing about my V... except this. This drives me absolutely nuts. Especially the fact that it starts with the first listing in "Songs." To alleviate some of the frustration, I recorded 60 seconds of "nothing" and named it "aaaaaa." Now when the iPod starts, it begins with that "song" and I have a minute to switch it off, or to change it to what I want to hear.
