Hello, I was hoping someone could provide me with pictures of the dash display. I have been unable to see a Prius V in person, and having the C I'd like to compare the type of data available in the dash screen, not the audio display screen car mode. Is there more than one mode for display like in the C? I see that there's color available, so it's improved from the 2012 Liftback. Any assistance would be appreciated!
Here is an example: The Prius v's HSI indicator may be a bit more 'digital', as in giving you 'bars' versus a solid indicator, which yours has and I think the C's MFD is a bit more 'compact' versus the Prius v's. At least, according to the Priuschat's Prius c Technical overview.
I guess they're ultimately similar, my concern stems from my desire to purchase a V but replace the head unit with an aftermarket nav unit, I'm not too keen on entune. My C has mileage comparisons against another vehicle and shows me total savings by month. Is this information available in the V audio display? So far from the comparison to the lift back with display audio I'd only be losing the energy flow diagram which isn't a big deal to me anyway Am i incorrect in my assumptions?
I have the Prius v 5 with ATP, the ATP does not seem to show 'fuel savings' Or at least, I have not seen anything to depict average monthly savings.
Fuel savings aren't shown any where on a V, but the "Energy Flow Screen," can be displayed on the Nav/ stereo screen. The Nav system is very solid, you do not have to use the Entune features to enjoy the Nav, HD Radio, USB for iPod and bluetooth with voice recognition. ( assuming a V-three of course )
