In my area of NY, dealers have two or three on the lot, all with add ons or just priced a few hundred over msrp for the hell of it!
Hi everyone, Up around Seattle, any guidance as to who is selling at around invoice? Lowest offers so far 500$ over and all weather mats Pkg 11 Prius C Travel to Portland would be a consideration if savings enough Thanks!
Mine came from Portland at $400 over invoice. Capitol Toyota, I think the dealership was called. Not much less than the deal you're seeing. That was a month ago, not sure if prices have changed since then. I don't know if other dealers up there are offering anything better.
Yep, that's the same have here, 500 over but with those all weather mats included, + 10% over cost for accessories Pkg II Prius C In an unrelated matter, how's your 1st tank mpg wise This Seattle area is about as hilly as it comes, 47 avg with last Prius overall
When I bought my C a week ago here in NJ my dealer would not go under sticker. Considering the car is brand new and they can't keep them in stock, I understood. I worked for a Ford dealer years ago and this practice was very common for "hot" new cars.. in fact, I remember when the new Thunderbird had come out they were charging a $5,000 premium over sticker and there was a waiting list! I figure the money will come back to me in fuel savings over the years with the C so what the hell
I haven't finished my first tank yet (hooray!), but I'm on the low end of the range, I assume because of my commute. Nearly all my trips are just over 3 miles, which is sort of a mileage killer. It's currently showing an average of around 43 mpg for the 340 miles I have so far. That doesn't really mesh with the fact that I'm seeing upper 40s to low 50s on most of my trips, but perhaps I'm ignoring/not remembering the lower mileage trips I suspect that as the weather gets nicer (I'm down in Eugene), it will do wonders for the mpg on my short trips. Time will tell.
Capitol Toyota? That sounds like a Salem OR dealer 43mpg, yeah on our test drive.for 5mi or so around 43-44 At dealer in south Tacoma now, we are in final part of paperwork They honored all aspects of offer, including mats, taking delivery before 1st of May, Yes!!
Oh it might be. I went through a finder, and he made it sound like it was in Portland. But perhaps he was just talking about where the ship was docking. Congrats on getting the car!!
Plan on buying mine soon, im glad i see a lot of people getting under MSRP, im using my credit union to get my price 1,100 under MSRP. Only thing is that this price is only good at 3 different dealers, they are 30-50miles from my house not a big deal, worth the 2-4 Gallons of gas i will use to get there with my car before she is gone, Just to help out with people that are doing the price comparison, i have a spreadsheet that u can plug numbers into, my numbers are still in it. Some might find it helpfull. If anyone would like this, i can send it in an email.
What kind of deals have folks been getting in Illinois? I live two hours south of Chicago. Was at a dealer and they wouldn't budge at all off the MSRP. Looking to buy a Prius c four. Thanks!
Great way to buy this car, Credit Union membership wins again! My only conundrum was having to get this done fairly quick versus waiting for the Japanese factory to ship the car, Local dealers are refusing to sell under invoice for future orders, time is past for what ever was in the pipeline
I got my Black C3 for 21k. 3k down 1.89 apr. All i can suggest is HAGGLE with the surrounding dealers. I did that all via their internet sales managers. Get quoted and pass on that price. find the invoice price and don't settle for less.
bad thing is the dealers are all adding tint, and paint protectant, door edge guards ect ect And there still selling as fast as we get them in.
Definitely possible but also may require some work. Live in Connecticut and no dealer would budge too far from MSRP ($200 off MSRP was the best I got in CT). Looked outside the state and ended up in Mass, got Model 2 for $19,600 plus $400 "dealer fee" but whatever, still cheaper than MSRP of $20,885 (just carpets added). I just ended up emailing all kinda of dealers to see what price they would give me. Thought I got a pretty good deal!!
I checked the on-line fee calculator at California DMV and it showed $200 and change registration fee, the rest sales tax.
