If the C has the same wheel and cover that the Prius III has, why not look at taking those dreadful plastic covers off. You will notice a reasonably looking set of "spoke" silver painted factory wheels underneath. I removed the plastic covers and then ordered a set of wheel caps with the Toyota emblem. That should give ya'll a fine looking set of wheels. If you yen for more glit, you can do the rechrome/exchange on Ebay for a set of chrome replacement wheels and also use the center caps. With 2 tanks of gas, I have not noticed any change of miliage that I would atribute to the removal of the caps. There are always options ..... Regard, Radmangto
I would think any 15" wheel covers will work. The attachment mechanism are little fingers around the edge of the cover that is pretty much standard. I believe there is one other member that has installed aftermarket covers on the stock steel wheels. Try taking one off to see for yourself. All I do is firmly grab the cover with fingers through the holes in them and pull hard on them, straight out. With enough force, they simply pop right off.
i went to autozone and put there aftermarket 15s on shorty. i think it looks at least a little better than the stock covers
Those are pretty nice on black. Should look good on the grey too. I have a white, hmm? autozone you say?
yeah. i followed habeneros lead and went for it. no offense to others but i have hated prius wheel covers forever. yes, they really were 39 bucks for all 4 at autozone. i would change wheels but im slowly going to improve (i hope) shortys handling piece by piece thru cusco. in fact, my tower strut piece is on its way right now.
