Checkout kbb.com.... According to them the $17400 offer you are getting is for a car in fair condition. So it might be a little low.
Thats why I use galves. Dealers use galves to appraise trades, and it is the only thing that will give you an accurate value. Kbb is just an advertising website. No dealer uses kbb to appraise a trade. They might use things like "120% of kbb value" to get people in the door, but thats. Customers flock to kbb and other sites like edmunds because it gives them a feeling of control. It's like a security blanket.
