Just picked up my new Prius C, this morning, and drove it home and then to work with mileage of 54.7mpg in 28 miles if you can believe the onboard computer, at a cost of $1.51...I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!! As a former owner of a full size Nissan Titan this kind of mileage is unbelievable to me! I wish I could have been able to afford two of them.
The display is averaging about 2 to 2.5 mpg higher than actual/calculated, so that's not to shabby for the first drive.
lol... I don't think he cares at this point. Congrats on the new car, Don. You will love it once you get even better at driving it and attain even higher mpg figures. My wife just hit 71mpg average in her commute to work, yesterday, where she could only manage 55 max with the 07 Prius we just sold. The c is amazing in it's ability to maximize fuel. I'm very much like you as I'm seriously contemplating buying another c to replace the FIT I now drive.
