If Hybrid owners in Virginia would like to continue to use the HOV lanes solo, they need to contact their representatives in Richmond to attempt to get the HOV exception continued beyond 2005. Seems that LOTS of slugs are contacting them to get the exception canceled. Contact your legislator at <http://conview.state.va.us/whosmy/constinput.asp> I would recommend contacting them early and often to seek their support in encouraging the use of hybrid vehicles, even if you don't use the HOV exception.
