My new 2012 has an annoying tinny sounding echo on incoming and outgoing calls. Anyone else notice this or do I have a problem that needs to be addressed?
i get it as well. not every call but it happens. I've had bluetooth in my last car and then headsets for years before that and honestly its sort of been the same thing with those. if anything I've noticed the prius has better quality for the person on the other end of the call although they can also hear all the road noise. I was thinking about doing a bunch of sound proofing (my car is my office) but the weight of the material would be like have 2 more people in the car and that might affect mpg not to mention it wouldn't be cheap.
Before we bought our 2012, we rented a 2011. The sound quality was MUCH better. No annoying tinny sound with it. I was quite disappointed with the quality in the 2012.
