Hi everyone, Just exploring on my touch screen, while under Setup and then under Vehicle you have the DRL option of {on or off }. But i don't see any difference with i select either one. Even if I switch on my DRL or headlights I see no change when I select on or off. What does it change?? I'm also not finding an answer in the owners manual. On my headlight switch i have these options... Off - DRL - Parking lights - Head lights> All my other Prius friends have an auto headlight that i somehow missed out on :-(
Ahh yes I am. I keep jumping out to see if there is any difference, that must be why I see no change, thank you this time I will get someone to check for me while i stay in gear.
I just checked this out yesterday because I wondered what it did. If you have DRL option on and put the light selector in DLR (and you are in drive as stated above), the driving lights will be on. If you have the DRL option off, then the DRL will not come on even if you put the light selector to DRL. Of course if you turn the light selector to off, the DRL are off too. Not sure why they did it that way given you can turn the DRL off by the light selector .
I have a 2011 Prius Two, no navigation. Do I have DRLs and if so, how do I enable them without the touch screen interface?
I picked up a 2012 4 weeks ago. My DRL's come on as soon as I hit the power button if the headlight switch is on DRL. It does NOT have to be in gear for them to come on.
