Or any that you suggest I should avoid? I went to about 8 to buy my first prius and had pretty bad experiences all around. I know what I want (5) and just want to limit the runaround. Thanks for any advice!
avoid bernardi, claire, falmouth, and wellesley, all in ma. the rest probably aren't any better but copeland in randolph was okay.
I had a very good purchase experience at Toyota of Newprt, RI. in Dec. 2007. (Story here.) The internet salesperson drove a Prius and was knowledgable about the car. FWIW, I was told that the day before I was there, buyers had flown in from Maine and Virginia. Although I haven't been back for service -- I live 450 miles away -- they were especially proud of their Service dept. There was a huge glass wall between the waiting room and service floor. Everything was out in the open to be seen. I was told that the owner "had come up through the service side." Well, it's four years later, and folks move on/around. I can't say for sure if things remain as they were.
I was pretty happy with the experience at Toyota of Watertown when I bought my 2010. I plan to go back to see if they can give me a good price on a 2012.
yeah but if price is your only concern they will beat anyone, and often each other just to keep the deal out of the other one's hands
Doesn't Troy who sells the extended warranties to Priuschatters work for a delaer in MA? I'd look him up, and at least give him a chance to compete. Toyota of Greenfield 1 Main Street Greenfield, MA 01301 Attn: Troy Dietrich Phone - (413) 772-0231 (Dealership) Phone - (413) 772-0989 (My direct line)
Great- thanks for the responses! Yes, tried HC and Boch last time. Not happy with either. Newport and Watertown- will try. And Troy too. Appreciate the advice and will update with news.....
Just saw this post and I know I'm about 2 weeks late, but thought I'd chime in. I bought mine at Bristol Toyota in RI and was happy enough with the transaction. They did not wow me, but did a solid job so I'd recommend them.
