Blacked out center portion of the front bumper

    not perfect, but from far away it makes the car look a lot more aggressive

    fyi, there's a partial grille block on just the top grille as well. also, you might not be able to tell, but the headlights are lightly smoked with vinyl too.

    Is it easy to remove? Mine is a lease and I think I'd have to remove it before I turned it in after 3 years.

    yup! peels off easily if and when I need to remove it...

    and as a plus.. it also protects the paint in that area too.

    i purchased the vinyl from a sign supply store. the material i used was the 3M 1080 series matte black..

    and no eyelashes... *shakes head*.. lol.. :tape2:

    That is a great improvement. Now, where can we get a contoured, color-matched filler plate for that license plate notch? That is usually an option on some cars (came standard on my G35).

    can't say i'd know of anything except fabbing something up.. i'd be able to, i suppose, but i don't have the time nor the resources at the moment..

    that and trying to get other things done first as well :p

    Why did you choose matte black vinyl and not glossy black vinyl?

    not only does the matte hide imperfections and a little bit easier to install... the supplier that i went to only had matte black.. lol.

    It does look good, surprised you didn't invest in a better license plate if you were gonna go through that trouble.

    i'm waiting for my actual plates to come in before i do anything else with that... for the most part.. this was mostly just a test.. as i'm probably going to redo it whenever i have the time to be able to install it more cleanly..

    there's just too many imperfections that bother me.. and if i show it off in person.. they tend to stand out and people would think it was installed by a novice... when in actuality.. i was rushed to finish and was unable to work out all the small kinks.. :(

    in the meantime.. it still serves ok as paint protection there as i'm driving a lot.. :p
