then why ask for someone to "PLEASE do this?".. you're asking someone to create a vehicle that's already been made.. one, the owner isn't on this forum, and probably doesn't even live in the US... as the car pictured is NOT technically a Prius C. that's my car. i wrapped it myself with a matte black vinyl. in japan, there's a whole new trim that attaches to the front bumper that piece costs 15,750 yen.. which is about $193.. no thanks.. matte black vinyl = $10
larger photo is in this thread: http://priuschat.com/forums/prius-c...-blacked-out-center-portion-front-bumper.html basically wrapped the area with the material and cut it to fit.. it's been a few years since i worked with vinyl.. and along with a very limited time constraint.. it ended up not being as perfect as I would like.. if you look really close in person.. there's a few creases and imperfections.. and under the car.. there are spots that are uncovered.. to make the installation slightly easier, i removed the front bumper and then removed the grilles... but yeah.. i might redo it another day when i have a chance to take my time and do it more properly.
Looked at the larger picture. Thanks for posting the link. Looks really good and can't see any missed areas. Flat black hides imperfections! Also like that you can take it off and works like paint protection. Sorry bout sayin' it was a TRD Aqua... but it does look just like it. Also like the bottom of the air dam done in black. I was one of the people that went into the Japanese Prius c site and built a bunch of those TRD Aquas, with the Modelista pieces and the blacked out nose... see below for some of the really, really old pics! Would really like to get hold of a set of the TRD 16 inch wheels that they can get over there, but I'm sure they must be a bit expensive.
the TRD TF4's are 28,00yen ($343) each.. so a set of 4.. well.. it's not too bad actually for some good rims.
