I see this is listed as an option? Why would one want/need it, if the car already has an engine immobilizer and keyless entry system?
so it makes annoying loud noises if someone is breaking into the car... at which then... it's probably too late anyway.. thieves nowadays do smash and grabs... so... really.. the best theft deterrent you can have is not having anything valuable in the car visible... or anything at all.
I would advise not to have the VIP security system installed. It's a great system, but the dealership charges way too much to have it installed. If you have enough money for it, then by all means get it.
