Wanted: small chrome hubcap

    Did Toyota ever offer a small chrome hubcap to fit the Prius c, and related, wheels? Like an old-style cap on a steel wheel.

    Hubcap. Like on an old Ford or Chevy. It would fit over the ring around the lug nuts.

    I'm thinking something like a GM rallye wheel look, with cap and stainless trim ring.

    haven't seen center hub caps in years. :D

    Is it even possible to mount on the stock c steel wheels? IIRC, the old style wheels had "nubs" around that center section that those hub caps "snap" onto, correct? The stock steel wheels don't have those "nubs".

    Some had clips that were attached to the wheel. Just thinking of some options until I can afford some lightweight wheels.

    Back in the day, before I could afford aftermarket rims, I would add those stainless steel trim rings, like you are thinking about, and use some chrome lugs with a nice centercap.
