Bluetooth Speaker Buzzing Noise??

    Bluetooth Speaker Buzzing Noise?? (UPDATE 4/13!!!)

    Little problem it seems with my Bluetooth. Although there is no delay, thank god, like I had with my 2010 Prius, when I used my phone in the car today, I notice that when a person is talking, there is a slight buzzing sound in the back of the voice. It seems like it's a speaker issue :(

    Anyone having this problem? Or anyone know how I may correct the issue?

    I hope it's easily fixable.


    NEWEST UPDATE 4/30/2012 ~

    Sorry to say that my buzzing noise has come back to haunt me. Sighhhh! I am just learning to live with it. I can't understand why it does that on phone calls and the radio sounds perfect. I guess they are two separate speakers??


    UPDATE 4/13/2012 ~

    So I decided to erase the phone from the Bluetooth system and reinstall it. Mainly because I've been having problems with my phone sending me old emails or alerting me of unread emails that were not found and I couldn't get rid of the indicator message. It was happening each time my phone would connect to the Bluetooth in my car.

    Well it fixed that problem, yay!!! But, it seems like it also fixed the "buzzing" noise I kept hearing!!! :cheer2: Woohoo!!

    So I suggest that anyone who is hearing this buzz sound, perhaps reinstall the Bluetooth, oh and by the way it does still keep all your speed dials so you don't have to put them in again. I thought I'd have to go back and redo them all, but nope!

    Report back if it fixes it :)

    Oh wow, yours too? Hmm I'm now wondering if this is a common issue on this car. Could be a flaw that was never checked out :confused:

    I'm planning to bring my car back to the dealership next week or so for the service department to take a look.

    Maybe we're the only two lol!! I bought mine about 45 miles away so I was going to wait until I went in for service, but if you would, please let me know what they say.

    For sure! It could be we are the only ones because I'm surprised no one else here has commented that it's on their car too.

    My radio sounds fine. I am wondering if the BlueTooth is connected to a different speaker?

    Ohhhhh you too??? And yes, definitely annoying. Seems like this is a general problem then on the C. My dealership called me last week to set up a time for me to come in and have it looked at, but I've been busy. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe I should just live with it for 3 years lol.

    I tried it, but still have that tinny buzzing noise unfortunately.

    I also have that buzzing noise. I un installed the Bluetooth several times with no change. I'm using a Verizon iPhone 4s. Prius c three

    Check out my latest update. My car's bluetooth buzzing noise is back :mad: Seems like it's a wide spread problem :(

    Not sure if anyone else out there has this issue, but when I'm talking to someone over bluetooth their voice sounds modulated over the car speaker. I'm using a Verizon iPhone 4s. I tried I while the phone was tethered and got the same results. Its the same with all the callers. One their end the quality is consistantly crystal clear.
