I just picked up my Prius C Three Blue Steak Metallic yesterday; only 6 days waiting time. It has been a decent drive and I feel we shall get along beautifully even though it doesn't emit the same thrilling roar my Alfa Romeo 164 LS did. The dealer offered three packages: 1). Rust protection/underbody spray 2). Interior scotch-guard 3). Paint protection Of those three, I picked option 1). Rust protection but that is all. Interior protection, I'm not messy but if needed, can spray myself. Paint protection is probably lacquer and wax. Not needed. Did anyone buy into these protection packages or believe they'll work? Accessories I will get are: Rubber floor mats and door moldings.
What is 1). Rust protection/underbody spray ? you paid for it? or it is free ? "Rubber floor mats and door moldings." I bought the floor mats , trunk mats and bumper protector from ebay. the seller is a US toyata dealer. the best deal I can find.
They charge for all those packages. The rust protection includes a supposed teflon spray for the inner door skins. Given our rust-prone state, I thought it'd be worth a try.
