well.. Toyota Japan always has the cool stuff.... America? no... not really.. so unless you import the JDM parts from over there... you won't see those over here.. Toyota isn't going to bring them to the states... so there's no point in waiting.. fyi, those foglights are listed in Japan as 57,750 yen.. which at the current exchange rate... it's $701.78.. coupled with shipping costs.. the ebay seller really isn't smoking as much crack as most people think.. besides... there are a TON more better JDM parts over there that are well worth more spending towards.
led fogs? expensive. i work for toyota and ill bet youll be able to get a halogen kit here within 6 months. i saw his ebay store, cool stuff but pricey. i got a little excited
heheh... I work for Toyota as well.. currently, from what I know and from my other sources that have told me.. Toyota doesn't want to have the fogs as an addable accessory.. you want it.. you buy the package that has it... and alas! the most expensive package 4 is the only one with with them. the aftermarket options will probably start showing up eventually though... but getting a genuine Toyota fog kit in America is something I'm not holding my breath for.
I bought a three but want the fog lights...just my thoughts but can't an auto repair shop simply order all the oem fog light components found in the 4 and install them into the three... kinda like how they can order parts to fix cars when they get into accidents? Am I missing something?
i never said it was impossible.. but you're going to have a hard time obtaining all the components you'll need.. i suppose you can always rig something though.
my cousin is in the navy in okinawa. hes looking into a genuine aqua foglight kit as i speak. stay tuned. btw an aftermarket fog light kit is an easy install on any car which would include switch relays and wiring.
