I've just got my first Prius and I love it, but the jack won't fit into the AUX hole to plug my iphone in! The only thing I can think is that it's blocked somehow. Such a strange problem I just thought I'd check to see if anyone had a reasonable explanation before I take it to an auto audio place for investigation.
Either you have the wrong size plug (it should be a standard 3.5mm headphone-jack-looking-thingy) or there is something stuck inside the socket, which I suppose can happen quite easily since it is in the console storage. You can probably look inside with a flashlight and compact mirror, and pull out the obstruction with pliers or tweezers, unless it is really stuck.
