Wow that sits way lower. Very nice. You let the wife drive your car  I told my wife she can buy her own Prius if she wants to drive one, she will NOT drive mine. It's my car & I want it now

LOL well even though I drive the prius more its technically "her" car. I have a Hybrid Tahoe that waits patiently for me in the garage. (She actually drives the Tahoe more!)

Ahh, we also have a SUV for hauling stuff. Your V would still be more fun to drive :p

How's the ride? Is it much stiffer?

    Thanks,
    Bill

It's definitely stiffer but I prefer it over the stock by a long shot.

As much as I'd like to reduce some of the wheel gap, I have 102 mile round trip commute so I don't know if I want to sacrifice much ride comfort.

I gurantee it would make your 102 mile commute a little more enjoyable! Especially exit ramps LOL.

:) Sounds like fun. but on/off ramps make up a small percentage of the drive most of it is expansion joints and pot holes....

Update, 10 days and 800 miles later. The ride is definitely softer than stock now.

Wow, I was looking forward to a firmer ride than stock. How does it handle compared to stock? Cornering more flat?

That surprises me. The stock springs are very soft & float a lot. My Eibach springs are stiffer than stock but still provide a nice ride.

Handling is definitely better than stock.

I think the springs have settled a bit more. I was going to shim the rear tomorrow, because the LR toe was previously measured to be way off and causing tracking problems. Strangely, in the last day or two, the car has been driving much straighter so perhaps the alignment has changed again. I think I will wait it out now in case the alignment changes further.

By softer, I mean it absorbs bumper better than the stock suspension. On smooth roads, it does feel slightly more rigid. I will let F8L road test the car this weekend and let him report to you guys.

Whew, I was worried I would have the wrong springs on my car  Maybe you & Justin can run an autocross with your car & his and compare? We'll wait for his review :p

We all know you're gonna drive Mike's ride and be on your iPad ordering away!

I got the Blazer projectors yesterday, but it's gonna be awhile before I get to messing with them. If I'm happy with the ebay projector fogs, I won't even mess with them.

    Here is a new picture.

I had a set of Michelin Energy Saver A/S tires installed this weekend. The good news is that I am getting a repeatable 10% increase in fuel economy on the two fill-ups so far. The bad news is that the handling and traction have been greatly reduced, so the "combo" results in a Prius that does no longer handles significantly better than one a stock one with grippy tires.
