Changing the blue accents on prius 3 interior.

    I have an habenero Prius c 3. I am thinking about changing the little strips of blue in the interior of the car to match my habenero...any thoughts?

    why not?

    well, i'm doing the opposite.. i'm actually going to try to add more blue in the interior in mine actually.. change the green console lighting and stuff from green to blue.

    That would be cool. How are you going to do that? Have a shop factory match the paint? If you're going to do the strips, maybe you can paint other interior pieces.

    change the lights from green to blue? some soldering rework to replace the stock leds...

    i'll probably get part of it done tomorrow and take some pictures.

    Not exactly sure yet, but I figure any good toyota or other shop can take those parts off and match the paint. I'm looking at other pieces too, those strips are just the most obvious ones. Will find out this weekend

    I'm removing the blue and adding red - same idea. I will post some pics this weekend.

    I guess you could do vinyl decal on the trim piece around the open compartment. As for the gear shift I'm guessing they're aftermarket shifters.
