Hello All! Just joined the Hybrid Club with my first Prius purchase - a 2012 Blizzard Pearl edition. I have not been on a car forum since I last owned a Mustang Mach 1 in 2008. It used to be about horsepower and quarter miles and now it's all about battery power and hypermiles! Having only put 200 miles on her so far, I am extremely impressed and will definitely have to get used to the quietness of a stop light and the fact that I still have just about 3/4 of a tank (definitely not used to that!). Welcome aboard. I got my Blizzard Pearl with Bisque interior (pkg III) last month. I have already added Clazzio leather seat covers, Coverking 40 oz. carpet mats (oak), and a caramel Dashmat dash cover. I live halfway between Sacramento and San Francisco and have averaged 46 mpg. I have seen a few short trips in the low 60's. I know what you mean about HP vs. MPG as my other car is a 04 PT Cruiser GT (20 mpg). Have fun.
Welcome to the world of great gas mileage. I too have a 2012 Blizzard Pearl but got the III with solar sunroof. It does seem to be a popular color. I just love driving down the tollway and watching the huge SUV's driving like 'bats out of hell' and knowing what they are spending on gas ..... wish I had done this years ago.
